Field Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, organizing and deliver of in-depth technical training courses
  • Gathers information from manufacturer, participates in meetings, conference calls to obtain the most current technical information to distribute
  • Utilize all research resources for key information to aide in development of training materials and information provisions for Engineers
  • Coordinates training content, handouts, outlines, and agendas
  • Tailors training content based on individual trainee's specific needs
  • Contributes to team planning for both training and development schedules and needs
  • Delivers training programs /modules based on training course requirements
  • Incorporates motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques enhancing the training experience to maximize learning and retention.
  • Administers written and practical exams and writes evaluations of trainees' performance.
  • Ensures new training methodologies are incorporated into training approach
  • Provides email, phone and on-site technical support
  • Provides in-field Engineer technical development and training enhancement/follow up

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; leading, motivating and developing employees to perform at their highest level, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Dahill's policies and applicable State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensures the Employee Code of Conduct is adopted.

Your team will be servicing a full range of multi-function peripherals. Our Field Service Technicians complete diagnostics, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware & software solutions while managing & building excellent professional client relationships.


  • 3+ years' experience managing a team of field technicians
  • Experience in the office products or similar industry required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills with customers, vendors, and personnel within the organization required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities.
  • Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with the internet required.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage required.
